The Rolling Bridge

The Rolling Bridge, which can be seen on the Big Lake, but has no public access, is featured in the book 'Bridges Spanning the World' by Marcus Binney, published in 2017.  The bridge was designed by Richard La Trobe-Bateman.  It was later made to be operated by a solar-powered electric motor.  It is constructed from reclaimed greenheart timber and was completed in 2011.
