The Tea Room

The colourful Tearoom, decorated in the 1990's with murals by Ellen-Ann Hopkins, is open from 2.00pm to 5.30pm (last orders) on the same days as the House, and offers cream teas, an extensive range of cakes and slices and a varied selection of hot and cold drinks. There is also usually at least one gluten-free cake or slice on offer.

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT OFFER LUNCH OR SANDWICHES.

However, from 1.00pm, visitors are welcome to bring a picnic lunch. Tables and seats are available adjacent to the Visitor Car Park.  There is a public water fountain with chilled water in the archway to the Gardens.  The lavatories will be open, but please note that the House and Grounds do not open until 2.00pm.

Ice creams, soft drinks, and local cider are available in the Ticket Office adjacent to the Tearoom.

As the Tearoom is not run by the National Trust, we are unable to accept any vouchers issued on their behalf.
